Bash scripts are the perfect complement to CL programming. However, many connections are much easier to implement if you do this directly in a BASH script.
We use examples and procedures to show how IBM PowerVS can be controlled using BASH. COS is IBM Cloud Storage.
Here, too, you can connect it in a few simple steps. As a third scenario, we show participants how to use various open source tools under Bash and IBM i.
For example, db2Util, gzzip, and many more. An exciting presentation that highlights the further development of the system into an open source platform.
