Bash scripts are the perfect complement to CL programming. However, many connections are much easier to implement if you do this directly in a BASH script. We use examples and procedures to show how IBM PowerVS can be controlled using BASH. COS is IBM Cloud Storage. Here, too, you can connect it in a few simple steps. As a third scenario, we show participants how to use various open source tools under Bash and IBM i. For example, db2Util, gzzip, and many more.
